1913 Racoon Skin Hat

Hey guys,
Picked this up a few weeks ago. This is a racoon skin hat with a right hand hackle for a Fusilier Regiment. The racoon skin hats were larger than the busby and smaller than the bearskin hats.

Hackle colours:
Lancashire Fusiliers: Primrose yellow
Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment): White
Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers: Grey
Royal Irish Fusiliers: Green
Royal Northumberland Fusiliers: Red over white
Royal Scots Fusiliers: White
Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers: Blue over Gold
Royal Welch Fusiliers: White

There are also two holes in the front of the cap to accomodate a racoon skin cap badge, larger than the regular cap badge.

Super hat! That will look awesome on display.

Jeff how many damn times do I have to tell you.... MAN it's a damned skunk hat.

Just kidding buddy. I love it but have no idea what Unit is belongs to. From time to time, I look about and see if anything resembles it. So far nothing I have been able to locate yet.

Next time we meet up, you have to bring it.
