    I picked up this photo and saw the guy had a badge on hos collar, I wondered if he was police maybe? any ideas

    I do not think that it has any Military or Police connections.....

    After all he is driving a Rambler and behind him is a Studebaker.....

    It could just be an embroidered decoration on the tip of the collar.
