CANADIAN MK.I DISPATCH RIDER'S HELMET
The canadian helmet DR MK1. Was presented originally in October, 1942. Copied to the British model of the Manufacturer BMB .
My exemple has its original paint, liner and shine stape. His natural leather headband is stamped "44" which is the year of manufacturing,The letters " BS " in a circle are the initials of the manufacturer (Backstay Standard and Co. ) Based in Ontario and "7" the indication of the size. The shell is marked with the canadian broad harrow and "C.L. / C". and "1944" who is the manufacturer (Canadian Lamp Company 1944). Based has Winsor. We find the name of the soldier has the inside which is JIM KORNEY.
