Flea Market Find

Early mornings sometimes pay off  lucky to find this Irish Regiment Of Canada flashed Mk2, and with a camo finish, no name, came from a Yard sale yesterday to the flea market today

I may know a collector who would be interested in this helmet should you wish to part with it.

I never find anything at the flea markets or yard sales, I have actually quit going to them as it is a waste of time for me. Too many other things on the go all the time.

hey Cliff, I have a window of a few hours on a sunday, I go out and about for records too.  Usually I buy a coffee and that's about it lol

Its been an Irish Regiment year so far, I am gonna keep this one to go with a few others I have but I appreciate the offer.

It is an outstanding helmet and a heck of a find. As I live in Ottawa area, I never find much here. The area is to anti-military to have having thing. Really is quite sad.

I am glad I was able to re-discover it, its been an Irish year so far with 3 Caubeens already and I wanted to add a camo to my collection for ages.

Just some details on the shell, its CL/C 41 dated with a VMC 42 dated liner, either the painter used Burlap as a brush to add the paint or it was painted over the top of some cover.
