For some of us, there is something special about the sound and smell of radial engines. The above photograph tells you why I went out of my way to attend this year's Thunder Over Michigan air show. I also had the opportunity to spend the entire day out on the flight line. This is probably the last great gathering of B-17s.
Yes, I know the United States wasn't part of the Commonwealth, but gatherings like this will soon be a thing of the past and I thought I would share it with the members of the forum.
