During the Second World War, the Canadian army held two special courses, No 1 Canadian Army Course, and No 2 Canadian Army Course. These were set up to induct selected recruits into the military at the same time as giving them the equivalent of a first year university education. The focus was on engineering and technical subjects. The first course was only held at the University of Toronto. The second course was held at universities across Canada including the University of British Columbia, University of Alberta, Western University, University of Toronto, Acadia University, McGill University, McMaster University, Queens University, University of New Brunswick, and the University of Saskatchewan. There were at least two more locations, which have not been positively identified. Does anyone know of other Universities or Colleges that hosted the course? (LAC doesn't have the information.)
