Attributing Sources...

While the Forum is still in its infancy, it is important to set some basic policies. In my opinion, it is important that the sources we use for images and information, if they are directly copied, be referenced or given credit. There are legal implications which may be an issue for the Forum if images / text are not credited, and it is a few seconds more to do so in the post. The original authors/photographers are due their credit. It also adds to the credibility of the Forum if there is authentication of material, as far as can be established.

I agree wholeheartedly.

If linking in or posting a tract of text or a photo, most Forums (Fora?) require the credit be given where the credit is due.

Just ripping pics and text from someone else and posting it here without proper acknowledgement will only lead to trouble for us.

I agree...and I know I'm bad for this. My problem is that most of the pictures I have I would never be able to find the sources for since I have been copying them for years without keeping track.
