This was my Edmonton Gun Show find. A WW1 British/Canadian medical pannier. It is hinged metal tin which has been covered in canvas and web. The inside is devided up to hold bandages etc.

Thanks very much. The picture isn't very good but the box does have a real used feel to it. I see that you have the Calgary Highlanders badge as your image. Do you collect to them?

A family member served with them and was killed in action on 25 July 1944 (Cpl William Nimcan).

    Cheers,

The Calgary Highlanders have realy some interest to me indeed.
My collection area is mainly focussed on the city of Groningen as i live very close to it.
So the 2nd division is the main focus.
The Calgary Highlanders have passed the town i lived in on there way to Groningen.
    Have 2 mannequins of them.
Not easy to find some nice wartime items of them, but hey, that is collecting. Very Happy
