I still have mine....I think I bought it at the Canex at CFB London in the early 80's although mine is a more Nylon material...

Fairly common then? This was sitting at a local thrift shop for months. Finally they drastically dropped the price on it, so I scooped it.

well..I don't see them around at all anymore but back then on CFB LONDON (1RCR)..They were a fairly common site among personnel both reservist and Regular Army..
