I am not trying to pick on you but the instructions for painting/applying decals was very specific that it was to be marked to a unit/Corps and no mention is made of a formation. This would be the only WWII helmet that I have seen with a formation badge applied to it.

This is why it is important to join these forums. There is another one that is also very good (http://www.network54.com/Forum/28173/) and there are some that specialize in helmets also.
If you don't own "Tin Lids" then ask your local library to order it. This book has nearly all the information you need to collect Canadian helmets.
Don't feel bad about posting here. If you can post a photo before you buy you will get good advice here.

    Bon courage.
