I really need to find info on a family member who serverd in world war 2 but it seems like everything about him dosent exist and no one in my family was ever close with him does anyone know anyway to find anything about him? Right now I am in the military and I am trying to see if I can find out through them. Anytihng would help I would be really thankful for anything.

I would use the link above to ask the National Library and Archives Canada about this soldier. If you give them his full name, DOB and any other information they may be able to help you. I have had great success in the past using this inquiry form, however it was usually to ask a soldiers name (I had his Regimental number, last name and Usually first initial).

Okay thank you and I have tried that but they didn't send anything back I think they forgot,another time they said his records where burned so I have no idea what to do I don't think he has any records anywhere of him

One other thing is that there is a train in the picture with the numbers 2217 I don't know where this train is all I know is that he is a French canadian
