Machine Gun Corp Helmet

A guy I know says he has a WW1 helmet with a Canadian Machine Gun Corp logo on the front, I wondered if it should have a coloured rectangle if it was CEF as I know the CMGC lasted up till the late 30's, he was looking to sell it, could anyone help me with dating the piece without seeing a photo. Another MGC Helmet I saw had a blue rectangle (2nd div) with a red arrow inside, though I have heard this unit insignia was also worn till late 30's

Hello John, without an image it is impossible to offer valid observations. If he is selling it, there should be no problem getting a couple of images. If he is reluctant to have images taken, that is a red flag in itself.

Yeah will have to get some images, I am working on seeing it at the moment, thanks though Bill !
