Probably military coat/jacket/blouse

I'm looking for details about this blouse/jacket/coat(i don't even know what is this) from Canadian TV series "Eerie, Indiana : The Other Dimension"(1998) visible on pictures below:





Looks like made of corduroy.

It looks like a US style field jacket without the liner...possibly M65. Would have to see a better pic of the front of the jacket.

Well, based on the pockets it is not American. Sort of looks like a French field jacket, but it is missing the velcro tape over the right pocket. I would have to say it's a commercial knock-off.

Is it meas this is some pseudo-military jacket?
What shop selling things like that?
On second image we see this is not typical military material(i think). :

Most North American surplus and sporting goods stores sell this sort of material.
