I got this jerkin from the brother of the original owner at a garage sale back in 2001(my last find at a garage sale). It was stuffed in side a named khaki duffle bag with original lock and key which I also got. Jerkin looks British to me but the mfr.tag is missing.

Re: Camouflaged Battle Jerkin
I've got a camo jerkin too with the makers tag. It is British marked and I don't think I've ever encountered a Canadian made jerkin which is camo'd. Anyone ever seen one?

Re: Camouflaged Battle Jerkin
Most of the Canadian made ones I've seen are a dark brown...almost black. I have seen pictures of Canadians wearing these lighter brown ones though. Probably supplied by the British.
I have another Jerkin that isn't camo'd...It has the tag and is British.

Re: Camouflaged Battle Jerkin
Everyone probably already knows this but the easiest way to identify a Canadian made jerkin is by the dark blue (almost black) lining. As far as I know and have read the Canadian jerkins were never camouflaged. Is anyone able to confirm this?
