Gentex DH 132A

Last week I found this helmet. This helmet is a DH 132A Gentex helmet. Canadian troops use this helmet during 1980s on the m113 :)

They were used past the 80's. When I was in 2PPCLI in the 90's we used headsets normally worn over a combat cap or toque while driving M113's but when I went to Bosnia in 1997 we used Grizzly APC's and these helmets were available and in use still at that time. I believe these helmets were also available to the crews of Cougars and combat engineer vehicles during the same time period.
