2 Rare Weekend Finds

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen.....

Just a quick post to let you view a couple of quite rare Canadian Shoulder Badges that I picked up with a bag full of WW1 and 2 items......

The Bowness Police were only in existance from 1931 to 1939......

Yes that's the one..... Only place where a Man and a Woman could drink in the same bar at the old Bowness Hotel......

I was always under the impression that the 49th was the Edmonton Regiment.

But as I am a re-enactor and not a collector, I may indeed be mistaken...

No you are not mistaken....... It was just that the two sets of badges were found the same day and in the same place......

I'm not a police patch collector but would assume those would be extremely rare. What kind of money do you think they would fetch?

Well... maybe because it isn't of interest to me.
But i really like the way they are made.
Looks great.
You really have some luck to find a pair of scarce patches.
To find 2 in the same place... that doesn't happen very often.

Any chance to see the back of them?
