I found this large beer stein at a garage sale. When I asked where he got it he said, his father served in the RCAF during ww2 and brought it back from germany at the end of the war. The 2nd small beer stein I got from a friend who said it belonged to vet.

The smaller of the two steins has the distinctive HB and crown marking of the famous Hofbräuhaus am Platzl in Munich. Hofbräuhaus steins have always been collectable and perhaps the age of this one can be determined by someone more familiar with the brand.
