Canadian Camo Helmets

Here are a few camo helmets. One used in the RCN and two from Sicily I believe. I recall seeing some film of troops leaving landing craft with the tortoise shell type camo in Sicily.

Thats a selection you have posted, could you tell us any makers please, the 2nd one is British made?  this one is RCN?

I just saw another unused tan camo yesterday funnily enough.

the first one is interesting, the chinstrap could be replaced? an out side shot of the three would be great if the weather is not bad your way

I'll see what I can do for you .... the top helmet was a garage sale find in 1976. It was $5 .... chinstrap is original to the helmet. Second helmet is British made RCN issue. Has a nice loop around the chinstrap D ring to hang it somewhere. I'll get a list of makers for you when I can.

Cheers Ypres, am finding photos more and more deceptive, what colour is the RCN, light blue and white? interesting none the less, you take part exchange lol !

I can see better now, the sun was really bright today and now it's gone in the pictures are brighter oops !

Both Canadian helmets are CLC 1942, British helmet has the maker obscured under the chinstrap attachment, but I can see a 1939 date
