Here is an unusual piece, a Canadian signal torch with a Morse code switch.
The only way to operate the torch was to hold the Morse code switch down.
The end cap has the following stamped "CCB" "Made in Canada" "AP16001" and a "C arrow".
I was told these were used for beach landing operations (D-Day?), the closest I could find to matching this was a description "Admiralty signal torch"
Apparently different beach landing zones had different light codes, this one has a blue glass filter.
Unfortunately the bulb and spring to hold the batteries are lost.
