    Early Gas Goggles Empty Early Gas Goggles

    Found this pack of goggles. Interesting they are in a box and not a sleeve. I believe one of the goggles in the box is a Mk 1. Notice that the strap is like a shoelace. It is also not elasticised as a the others are. The other goggles I have seen also have an elastic or partly elastic strap and also have a clip and ring closure.

    This is a great find Ypres! I bet that is a Mk 1 set of Eyeshields!
