"Helmet with a flag? " (RCOC)

My colleague had a helmet what was left after the liberation in the village where he lives, called Markelo.
It's a helmet with sort of a flag or something he told me!

Last Monday he gave me this helmet of the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps.

Markelo is a small village in "Twente, Twente-Canal" what was liberated by the 2nd Can Inf Div. (FMR)

I never find nothing anymore, or so I tell my wife. My bank account is wishing this was true. I'm about out for a while.

From looking at servicepub's website on helmet flashes I was wondering about the PPCLI helmets, the green paint on the center of the helmet, is that a stripe or is half the helmet painted?
