A few things that I picked up

I picked these up at a pawn shop in northern Ontario, while I was away on a Christmas. This is my first Coloured Field Service Cap, that I purchased, it has a few small holes on the right hand side, and could use a little cleaning,as well as a cap badge. I am unable to read the date or any other manufacturing info except 7... as the size, the nearest I can decipher it looks to be 7 5/8. I am hoping to find some information on this Pte. Gibb. I felt like turning myself in to the police after paying only $20.00 for all this.

Len, I can't make out the colour of the CFSC? Is it maroon and green?

Bill, it is marron and green CFSC. I have done a little reading about the Grey and Simcoe Forester's. Another unit with a colourful past.
