Canadian WWII dog tag Empty Identification Disks

Nice item, although keep in mind that Americans wore Dog Tags, Canadians wore and continue to wear Identification Disks.

Since it's Montreal could be Le Régiment de Maisonneuve or Fusiliers Mont-Royal.

There's no service file on D109689 in the War Dead, 1939-1947 of the Canadian Archives. So he wasn't kill during the war for sure. The ''RC'' means Roman Catholic.

But I didn't found more info, sorry. Hope this help!

The service number is listed as No 4 District Depot in Clive Laws book Regimental Numbers.

The no4 District was in Longeuil, south shore of Montréal.
