Need assistance please with P 37 webbing straps.

Morning.

I am trying to attach my P 37 webbing L Strap to my large pack. The wide straps on both the pack and the L strap need a brass buckle of some kind to be connected? If so, what is that buckle called and does any one have a couple I can buy?

Buckle

Here is what the buckle looks like and note the direction the opening faces when affixed correctly.
