Canadian headset for WS-19

I recently acquired these headsets, and I've tried to find photographic evidence of ww2 use but I can't find it.
Does anybody know if this type of equipment was used in Europe during ww2?

So much knowledge here, and yet so little reply...........

It is a slow Forum, isn't it.

I'm no radio guru but I looked at Library and Archives' "Faces of War" page, did a search for "Radio" and got back many images of 19 sets in use and personnel wearing various headsets.
