Were you a member of the R22R Battle Group? Patch looks like one of the theater made ones. IIRC there were also Canadian made ones.

Nice collection. I like the burlap backing...would hold the velcro well.

Here is a couple I had laying around. The white patch was for the training guys in Kabul circa 2006.
The Dragoon one was of course unofficial from the boardwalk!

I really regret not picking up more variety of patches, but I was/am a cheap bugger. I wasnt paying for them.

I bet some of the old salts from out west took a double take at the 19 Dragoons patch.

Anyone have info on this patch?
Good day gents,
A friend from south of the border has sent me this picture of a patch. Anyone familiar with it, and supply details...Who...When...Where?
Thanks,
Ian B

I have not seen this patch before, however, according to the task force, I would not have been in theater at the time. Also Task Force number 02-08 makes little sense to me. I was always under the impression it would have been 01-08 or 03-08.
02-08 and 04-08 were stand by groups ready to go should either 01 or 03 not be ready to go.

Thanks for that Cliff. I was unaware of that organizational detail. The patch Ian posted has a distinct US appearance in design.
