LATEST GARAGE SALE FIND - 1912 UPS SADDLE

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen......

Not in my field of collecting but had to pick this up.....

Not cheap but in such a complete condition could not refuse....

A 1912 Universal Pattern Cavalry Saddle.....

All parts have the C Broad Arrow marking, Makers Marks and the years 1915 or 1918....

Hi Mike,

Nice find! Most of the saddles that I have encountered are dried out and discoloured. Yours looks like it could go right back into service. Great markings throughout as well. I think finding the bit with bridle and reins is likely rarer than the saddle!
