    Hey guys,
Thought I'd share some pictures of the display I set up this year for Remembrance. The Legion church parade was held at this church on Sunday Nov 6th and they were down to view the display after. It was open to the public all week and was very well attended and I got great feedback on it. I did a presentation on the Wed night for the general public and had about 12 people. On Friday afternoon the local grade 10 history class came down for a presentation also.
I was also the guest speaker at the Remembrance Day banquet at the Legion. My topic was preserving stories, through research and interviews. It was very well recieved and I got lots of great feedback. A veteran bought me a beer after and said my theme was perfect. It was a very busy week but in the end well worth it to honour those that served!

Good lord Jeff. I never knew your collection was this large and varied. Most impressive for sure. If you do a display next year, please add some Irish Regiment of Canada items. Oh yeah, and a Bren. I am pretty sure you must know someone who could hook you up.

    Again buddy, great job.

It is a big display, the biggest I've ever done and this is only 70% of my collection! I know its scary! LOL
Cliff the next one I do I would love to add in some Irish Regt stuff and the Bren, we coulld do up a set up for your Uncle! With a blown up framed pic of him. That would be aa geat addition to the displat!

Hey Frenchy, careful tipping your hat to Jeff, he try to buy it from you to add to his collection. LMAO

Jeff we can discuss anytime a loan of some of my collection. Be great to put together a Bren gunner display with the Bren, case of ammo, spent cartridges, the works. For this though, I would prefer to use a Hasty Pees tunic to honour my Uncle Harv. (A bren gunner with the Hasty Pees before being taken POW Dec 20 1944)
