I am a member of the 1st Battalion, Royal New Brunswick Regiment. I am in the process of organizing, cataloging, and displaying the unit's historical artifacts, documents, and photographs. I am asking for donations of any items (artifacts, documents, and photographs) that might be available, even images of items, from the any and all of the following units:
Loyalist Provincial Corps (American Revolution)
The New Brunswick Militia (1780's to 1867)
104th (New Brunswick) Regiment of Foot (War of 1812)
The Saint John Fusiliers (and their predecesor regiments)
The Carleton Light Infantry (and their predecesor regiments)
The York Regiment (and their predecesor regiments)
The Carleton & York Regiment (and their predecesor regiments)
The New Brunswick Rangers (and their predecesor regiments)
The New Brunswick Regiment (Tank)(and their predecesor regiments)
The New Brunswick Dragoons (and their predecesor regiments)
The 7th Canadian Machine Gun Battalion (post WW1)
The North Shore Regiment (and their predecesor regiments)
28th Field Battery CFA/RCA (and their predecesor regiments)
I realize that it might seem a bit presumtuous to ask a collectors for donations to a museum, but even if actual items can't be donated, images of such items would be much appreciated. Even if anyone has information to share about the details of any NB unit badges, uniforms, operations, or other historical info it would also be much appreciated.
Thank you.
