Very nice! I have yet to find a rimless...let alone Bn. marked. All plain-janes in my collection.

Re: 78th Battalion Marked Mk I
Curious, is there a name in the helmet? My great uncle George Davies fought with the 78th all through the war.

Re: 78th Battalion Marked Mk I
whats the inside like Ed and what markings may I ask, does the sand finish go inside too or a top coat over green. What date would you place this, and if again it needs some attention elsewhere for a while let us know lol

was looking at something else and came across this painting, I thought it was interesting for the detail of the helmet and also the shoulder flash, made me think of your helmet Ed
