Re: Crown Surplus Stores Inc.
This used to be a great place to find Canadian WW2 and Korea era surplus, now it seems all they sell is junk, lots of Russian stuff and US surplus. Since the Dad passed away and the son took over it seems to be getting worse, back in the 1980's it was the best place in Western canada to find treaures, lots of WW1 and WW2 capbadges, webbing, battle dress, and they had an incredible museum in the back with a Centurian tank, a Sherman gunnery pratice turret, 40 mm Bofors, etc.

Yep, I used to spend hours in there when I was young. There use to be an old auction mart close by, and while my Dad did his thing I was snooping through the surplus store.

Re: Crown Surplus Stores Inc.
It is rumored that the contents of the museum were sold to a museum in Japan...... Maybe a Urban myth.....
