Phenomenal second war Canadian mark 2 camo helmet. Made with a mixture of thick black green paint and burlap material that has been fused to the helmet with a brown coloured paint or perhaps mud. Marked GSW AA, Mark 2 and the date 1941. Helmet liner is slightly loose as there are a couple of small rivets missing. I am not laying a finger on this beauty though. I would leave it as is anyway as a completely untouched piece.

I don't know what to say... this is a very unusual helmet. I would certainly want to have provenance or at least some photographic evidence of this type of camo covering in use before I got too excited about it.
