    Hi, I'm looking for 6 red cloth embroidered rank pips for a WW2 Canadian officers impression I'm putting together.  If anyone has 6 matching ones to spare i'd love to take them off of your hands.

    Don't make life hard for yourself. Finding 6 identical pips could be tough when you could find 4 and badge it up as a Lieutenant then add another pair for his promotion to Captain. Few officers (with red "combat" pips went directly to Captain although this occurs with Chaplains and Doctors.

    Good point Clive, 4 pips would do. I could always rangle up a promotion to captain later on.

    Thought I had some on slip-ons and dug them out, then noticed they are medical branch, not infantry.
