I941 C.L./C Mk II flashed to the Regimental Police

Thought some of you gents might Find this a rather interesting Mk II it is a 1941 dated C.L./C. steel batch code 31 it's sporting a 1941 VMC Mk I liner in a size 7 1/8 and looks to be well used it has the letters RP painted on the front red over black with a large red band surrounding the helmet both have been applied in very thick multi layered paint .
The lettering and the band are consistent to period images of Canadian war time Regimental and or Military Police I am quite excited to add this helmet to my collection as I have never seen another example come up for sale in the market place thanks for looking all comments are welcome.

I just added a similar one, except marked MP, to my collection. I will try to get pictures up this weekend.

Hi Jim good to see you I do not post here much as you can see there was very little interest .
I have posted this same RP flashed Mk II over at GHW II ,WRF and WA I would still like to see your example though as IMO any Canadian MK II flashed to the RP and or MP are quite rare .

Hi Jim check out the thread I posted at GHW II instead Phil (Helmhunter )posted a nice early khaki green Mk III flashed to the RP as well for a comparison .

Thanks for adding yours as a comparitive to the thread Jim and congratulations a very nice example of an early Canadian MP helmet .
As stated on GHW II it is a 1940 dated C.L/.C. that is sporting a 1941 dated VMC liner .
