I visited the National War Memorial this afternoon, it was very moving to see all of the tributes that have been left on the site.

Thanks for the photos .... For all the hate in the world .. there is still is a lot of love out there! I taught Nathan in Grade 6,7,8. He was the nicest kid. Always smiling, a caring person, and a good student .. very slow to anger. The pictures you see of him really show the way he was. His family was always really supportive ... involved in the Community in Hamilton coaching hockey and soccer. I visited the armouries in Hamilton yesterday. I saw the same type of outpouring there. I went to say a prayer for him at the Cathedral and ran into the Funeral Party drilling for Tuesday ... it was hard to take ...

Unless someone has a complete and utter brain f--t, that's not likely to happen. ROE's...how many rounds?...What if the public finds out?...etc...etc. The lawyers would have a field day.

That's not what the guards are there for. I'd be much happier if there was increased police presence around the War Memorial. And that's probably what you will see.

So let's just stay calm. Remember -- "If you panic, you lose your section!"

Thought as much. There are armed guards in London at the Life Guards barracks now though.
