Spotted this thing at a local antique mall. I'm not sure what either of the decals are, but it's sad that both helmets are ruined. They were both marked "C.L./C. 1942," which I guess denotes the Canadian Lamp Company / Canadian Motor Lamp Company.

The bottom lid sports a US 44th Infantry Division insignia. I'm almost sure the top insignia is for a US Engineer Battalion.
