PPCLI Camo Mk II Helmet

My most recent acquisition (Thanks Greg for parting with it!).

A British made 1940 Mk II with the early war two tone camo paint scheme. The Yellow PPCLI cypher is painted on the side (VP under the coronet as found on uniform buttons).

The Photo is from the book THE PATRICIAS THE PROUD HISTORY OF A FIGHTING REGIMENT. Although the photo did not copy very well, if you examin it in the book, you can clearly make out the same helmets being worn.

Great helmet Geoff! I've never seen one with that insignia before. The camo alone makes it great...but to have the extra bonus of the insignia...WOW!
