I picked this up last week. Interesting the chape is the type from the earlier pattern scabbard. To make it fit properly it needed to be fitted in reverse. A bit of an oddball.

Not sure if you are aware of this, however, on the British and Commonwealth Military Badge Forum, there is a fellow on there by the handle "Roy". He's a Brit living in the US, and he has a website devoted to FS knives ( http://www.wilkinsonfscollection.com/wilkinsonfscollection.com/Home.html ). nice catch, I have seen the leather scabbard reversed with the seam on the front too, nothing left to waste I presume?
