MkIII on sale

I am looking since a while for a nice ww2 MKIII helmet, and would like your opinion concerning this one from Military Antiques Toronto :

The green paint seems to be post-ww2?

Hard to believe the asking price on a Mk III is now $250.00!   I am certainly glad I am not looking for one.

I have this one I can sell. Still has original paint, although worn in spots. With the net too. PM if interested

It is very dusty from being on display...hence the color difference under the net.

That is a web-shop for the military investor  , that's something completely different
But I'm afraid that is the future for collecting WW2 material.

Yes, sadly that appears to be the current state these days, too much investing and not enough collecting.   At some point the bubble has to burst on all of the crazy prices.

Thank you for your reply! Just sad because ww2 canadian/british militaria are nice manufactured items at a reasonnable price...

But militaria is a buisness!

the first one posted has original green paint, the first ones were that colour before changing to the darker green as Ed posted,
