Good day all,
A good friend has asked me to handle disposal of her late husbands military badges and effects. He was a long serving member of the RCEME with tours in Germany, the Middle East and here in Canada. He had been retired for several years, and sadly, passed away last fall. I will probably come into possession of his effects sometime in early November.
She had heard that the RCEME were trying to get a Museum going in Kingston, and she thought they might be interested in some of his effects. She heard about this a while ago, but has not heard anything more about it.
Does anyone know if this project has gotten off the ground? If so, does anyone have a contact name and number I could use? Any information any of you can provide to assist me in this would be appreciated.
If this project is a go, any items that the Museum is not interested in will be offered here. Any monies realized will go back to my friend.
