The Strathcona's actually sailed on March 16th, 1900 and arrived in South Africa April 10th and returned via England on January 20th, 1901......

There are a number of photos with regards to the Boer War at the Vancouver Archives, but we have found that a number of them have been miss labeled...... There is one that has a number of people supposedly in a park in Vancouver when they are actually in Toronto......
