79th shefford and 79 Shefford and Brome Regiments info wanted.

I've begun to expand my collection/study interest into the pre WW1 militia regiments/Battalions of the Eastern Townships. I've found it bit challanging to find info on specific units. I'm currently looking for info on the 79th Shefford Battalion later 79th Shefford Regiment later the 79th Shefford and Brome Regiment. Does anyone have any further info on this regiment or can point me in the right direction where i might find some? Also are there any books on the subject? Militia period is new ground for me so any help would be appreciated.
