Help identify a ring Empty Help identify a ring

Post by Bettylouwho Sat Aug 22, 2015 7:07 pm

Among my father's possessions, I found a ring that looks to be related to the Canadian military. It is stamped sterling and bears another stamp (inside)  that looks like M<-.

On the ring, there is a tank (we think as it is worn quite smooth) with a crown above, the word CANADA below, and some foliage (laurel wreath?) on each side.

There is green and red enamelling.

I have a photo but can't see how to post it here. I'm new to this site and would appreciate some help.

    Thanks.

Thanks, John (at least I hope this is replying to John's message). I go onto and use many, many websites......This one is sure not user-friendly!

I read your message, went to the link.....no help, I'm afraid.

On every other site I use that allows attachments, there is an obvious symbol/word (paper clip, Attach, etc). Guess I'm blind...I see no such option.

If I can get some instructions that make sense, I'll try one more time.. Otherwise, I'll say "Good-bye".

Thanks for trying. Guess it's me!

Hello, I agree that our upload procedure is not as simple as some other sites, however it is actually quite easy once you get used to it. Try this link I have provided and see if it helps you. It is one I created based on a step by step upload. Please let me know if it works for you.

I suggest you open the link in a different tab or window and flip between the two. In other words, read the instructions on the one tab then follow them in the other tab to upload the photos.

Thanks for the step-by-step, Cliff. I have no idea if the picture will be visible to users of this site.

The photo came out just fine. It is an Armoured Corps ring. Judging by the styling, it would be a mans ring as opposed to a females sweetheart ring.
