Pre-WW1 RCD tunic

Hi there

I have this RCD tunic but am missing collar dogs.

The buttons are all Victorian cypher less one which is Edward. The RCD shoulder titles are the large variant.

Any idea what the correct collar dogs would be? The collar shows holes for an E-W lug orientation

Also, does anyone have information re the use of chain mail on frocks? Most if the pictures I have seen show the enlisted frocks as not having these.
